Q1 2024 Performance of Top Puzzle RPGs on Android in the US

In the first quarter of 2024, the Puzzle RPG category has seen engaging trends across the top Android games in the United States. Sensor Tower's latest data sheds light on how these games performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Puzzles & Survival from 37GAMES experienced a steady increase in revenue, peaking at nearly $767K in the third week of March. Downloads for the game, however, showed a declining trend from 37K in the first week of January to around 22K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw a downtrend from 92K to 78K in the same period.

Zynga's Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG showed a fluctuating revenue pattern with a high of $614K in mid-January. Download numbers peaked at around 16K in early February, with weekly active users hitting a high of 212K in the third week of February before settling to 172K by the quarter's end.

DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. saw its revenue ranging from $111K to a significant spike of $672K in the third week of February. Downloads showed a mixed trend, with a notable jump to 20K in the same week. Active users varied, reaching over 125K mid-quarter.

Best Fiends - Match 3 Puzzles, by Seriously Digital Entertainment Oy., maintained a revenue between $295K and $364K. The game's downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 8K to 14K, while active users showed a growth trend, increasing from 201K to 269K in mid-March before dropping to 234K.

Lastly, Puzzles & Chaos: Frozen Castle, also from 37GAMES, saw its revenue grow from $183K to $270K by the end of March. Downloads began at 22K and saw a drop to around 17K, while active users increased from 59K to 74K throughout the quarter.
